ASKEA Feinmechanik creates new capacities for CNC machining in Amtzell
ASKEA Feinmechanik GmbH is expanding its production site in Amtzell with a state-of-the-art building for precision manufacturing and packaging under clean room conditions. The investment of 4.8 million euros is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the state of Baden-Württemberg.

State-of-the-art manufacturing technology meets southern German character
A new generation of manufacturing buildings is being built at the Amtzell-Geiselharz site: Instead of standardized industrial buildings, we rely on high-quality concrete and timber construction that combines functionality with the characteristic appearance of the ASKEA Group.
Our new building comprises:
- Production rooms for high-precision machining
- Fully air-conditioned production areas for consistent production conditions
- Modern canteen with a capacity of 100 lunches per day
Sustainable energy concept for sustainable production
With our new building, we are showing that high-precision precision engineering and ecological responsibility are not mutually exclusive. As a family-run company from southern Germany, sustainability is not just a buzzword for us, but a living practice.
Funding from ERDF and the state of Baden-Württemberg
Our project is funded with a total of 400,000 Euros, 200,000 Euros each from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the state of Baden-Württemberg. The funding was provided by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Food, Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection.
The funding underlines the importance of the project for regional economic development and strengthening the competitiveness of the southern German precision engineering sector.
Growth for the ASKEA Group
As a family company, we think in terms of generations, not quarters. Our new building is therefore an important milestone in our development. With this expansion, we are creating space for further growth and securing jobs in Amtzell in the long term.
The ERDF funding underlines the importance of the project for regional economic development and together we are consciously investing in our Upper Swabia region.
The move into the new production facility is planned for the second quarter of 2026. Initially, around 10 employees will work in the new production facility.
manufacturing success.
